Conditions the Examiner Evaluates
For these, the medical examiner makes a clinical judgment about your health, in line with FMCSA certification requirements. Examples include:

- Loss of an arm, leg, hand, or foot
- Inner-ear disorders that cause vertigo or balance issues
- Sleep disorders
- Nervous disorders
- Psychiatric disorders

Have one of these conditions? You may still be certified.
